I Am So Confused!

I was reading some social media posts and watching some YouTube videos from people who are big in the 2A and conservative movement last night, and what I am hearing just boggles my mind! I'm so confused! They paint a picture of what to do now that we are ruled by an oligarchy and headed into communism. What they had to say...well, I need to write it out to help myself try to understand, and maybe get some feedback from anyone who reads this as well!
For months now, we've been hearing about all the election fraud, illegal voting processes, etc, that stole this last national election. The claims laid out point to the presidency, and some senate races, most notably in Georgia. Now we've always known that the Democrats have used fraud in the past. Dead people voting, double voting, voting in different districts, these are nothing new. But nothing compared to the craziness we witnessed this time around. It was made possible by a coalition, a cabal, an alliance, a conspiracy, however you want to refer to it as. The Times article exposes many of players ( The Secret Bipartisan Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election | Time ) and ways in which it was done. I encourage you to read it yourself. It's a masterful hit piece, and one the Nazi propogandist (Joseph Goebbels) would have been proud of! It combines just enough truth, combined with vague threats from the orange man and his savages, to justify the theft (though they don't actually call it that) of the election, painting themselves as the true saviors of democracy. It really is incredible the spin they put on it. A common theme throughout is "power of the people", a slogan used by communists since they've been around. But read it for yourself.
I had to mention all that to set the stage. Many I pay attention to for my news and opinion pieces have, after a year of telling us that if we failed to elect Trump, our Republic is gone, are now saying, "oh darn, we lost. We'll get them next time!". How on God's green earth do you expect us to win ANY election at ANY level after we saw that not only would the Democrats cheat, but that they could get away with it without ANY form of justice being done?! You're telling me that we have a chance to win anything, after seeing this? That we need to "find common ground" and "unify" and win seats back in 2022? You really believe that? I'd so love to hear how they think we can do that!
Another thing that has struck me is the amazing turn in people's opinions. After Congress certified the election, and the Republicans refused to listen to We the People, based off a faulty and partial understanding of the Constitution (to my knowledge, for what that's worth), all I saw were posts about how everyone was done with the Republican Party. I was happy in that, at least. Voting the lesser of two evils has gotten us NOTHING in thirty years! Guys like McConnell, McCain, Graham, and others all continue to win their seats year after year (well, McCain would if he were still alive), decade after decade, not because of what they do, but because of what they say they will do compared to that "monster" on the other side. They get your vote, and literally take it to the bank. In less than a month, the calls from many to start our own party, has turned completely back to "we must fix the Republican Party and elect more Republicans." REALLY? We've been doing that for THIRTY YEARS, and where has it gotten us? This, today: an oligarchy of the rich and powerful who rule our lives. It's been that way for decades. People who talked about it were labeled "conspiracy theorists", but now we all see it. Big Pharma, Big Tech, the billionaires, they run things. I don't think there's any other conclusion at this point. But back to the point, why is everyone jumping back on the bandwagon that got us here? Again, someone explain it to me!
Also, going back to the voting thing, how on earth does anyone plan on running a campaign when Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube will censor you? How do you build a grassroots movement, free of PACS and outside pressure, without these platforms? This is yet another problem with the whole "we'll vote them out next time!" Good luck with that.
I'll save more ranting for later on. I promised to myself, and to you, that I would provide solutions, not just more talk. So here are what I see as the best ways that we can make some change for the better.
First, DO NOT STOP VOTING! I know it's easy to become disenfranchised when we know the Democrats will cheat anytime they are in danger. But we can't just stay home. Voting is a moral and civic duty. It is also a "chance". If nothing else, continuing to vote in ever greater numbers is giving the finger to those who try to shut us down.
Second, STOP VOTING FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS! We've seen where that's gotten us. Instead, vote for the principled candidate, no matter the affiliation.
Which leads into third, IF YOU CAN'T FIND SOMEONE TO VOTE FOR, FIND SOMEONE TO RUN AGAINST THEM, OR DO IT YOURSELF! We have to stop settling. The time to look for someone to support is now, not six months before the election. Do you know someone you think would make a great candidate? Seek them out, try to convince them to run, and then help them! Can't find someone? Consider running yourself. Yes, it's a sacrifice, you may lose, you may be humiliated, but we can't let these people go unchallenged.
Fourth, STOP GIVING MONEY TO POLITICAL PARTIES! If you want to donate, find a candidate you trust, and donate directly to them.
Fifth, FOCUS LOCALLY FIRST! I'll be doing videos and blogs on how to do this, I hope. We must take part in the local government. Town Hall meetings are huge to make your voice heard! Yes, it takes an evening of your time, but what if you can stave off more taxes? What if you can keep a drag queen out of your school? What if you can help eliminate some wasteful spending? If nothing else, you will be able to see who needs voting out at the next opportunity. Then take action and run for those positions.
Sixth, and last for now, is COMMUNITY (especially Catholic community!). No, not a commune or compound. Think instead of encouraging good Catholics and Patriots to move to the same area. For some reason in my head, I picture it like a cul-de-sac where everyone can know that their neighbors have the same basic beliefs as they do, and can help each other in tough times. Examples, cooking meals if someone is sick or in need of help, helping with medical costs, maybe offering classes to the kids, growing and sharing food, and mutual protection from violence. Businesses you don't have to worry about being fired from or cancelled because of your religious or moral beliefs. I'm not the only one that's been pounding the table for this. Many people smarter than I have been talking about this far longer. But I firmly believe it's necessary as well.
I'll leave you with those thoughts for now. Feel free to reach out to me with your own thoughts, concerns, or ideas! Share with family and friends! We can either accept the persecution, or we can mobilize to fight back by all legal means! I choose to fight. Will you join me?
I'll be recording the intro to the rumble/youtube channels today, and working on the first video. I'm torn what direction to take first, but keep yours eyes open and subscribe if you're interested, thecatholicpatriot on both Rumble and YouTube. Thank you, God bless you, and God have mercy on our Republic!
